Heray Spice is a US Army Interpreter veteran-founded, mission-driven company specializing in premium Afghan saffron and ethically sourced spices. Based in Chicago and rooted in the rich agricultural heritage of Herat, Afghanistan, we partner directly with small-scale farmers through a cooperative model that ensures fair pay, sustainable practices, and full traceability from farm to jar.

Our Saffron

We offer Grade A+ saffron, which exceeds ISO 3632 Category I standards. Our saffron is hand-harvested, lab-tested, and carefully packed to preserve its deep red threads, strong aroma, and powerful color and flavor. We carry:

- Premium Super Negin Saffron (all red stigmas, no yellow or floral waste)

- Pushal Saffron (with small yellow ends for culinary use)

- Bunch Saffron (whole stigma, traditional style)

- Saffron Powder (pure, fine ground)

- Saffron Extract (for nutraceutical, beverage, and beauty applications)
