Clinical Evidence In total of 60 subjects participate in this experiment and at the end 29 subjects are recruited in BrightEye group, 23 subjects are recruited in placebo group. Bright eye group was taking 1 capsule a day for 12 weeks. There are no significant differences between the placebo and BrightEye group in terms of use of medication, food diets, and sleeping habit during the testing period. Severity of dry eye is measured by questionnaire, Schirmer Test, and Ocular surface analyser (OSA) test. Blood sample was drawn at week 0 and week 12 to obtain the data of inflammatory cytokine, Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC). By the end of 12 weeks, compared to placebo group, Bright Eye group has significant increases of tear secretion volume, decreased of ocular surface disease index by 6.7, less inflammatory IL-6 and IL-8 expression.
