Extensive research and numerous publications have demonstrated that monacolins and pigments are the most abundant and bioactive chemical constituents in Red Yeast Rice (RYR), known for their hypolipidemic effects. Through SunWay’s unique fermentation platform and exclusive Monascus Purpureus NTU 568 strain, we have successfully enriched our RYR with the naturally occurring active ingredients Monascin (MS) and Ankaflavin (AK) while excluding Monacolin K.
