Niagro Nichirei do Brasil Agrícola Ltda was founded in 1991 in the city of Petrolina, Pernambuco, Brazil as a subsidiary of the Japanese Group Nichirei Corporation, with the goal of developing an Acerola (Barbados cherry) project with high quality and productivity standards.
Since 1995, Niagro became a leader and pioneer in Brazil in the production, processing and marketing of Acerola products.
With over 30 years of experience, Niagro has been studying and developing new varieties of Acerola with high levels of Vitamin C and manufacturing products as pulps / puree , juices, concentrates and powder (Cherry powder), meeting a high standard of quality and traceability that ensure full compliance with requirements of food, nutraceutical and markets in general, supplying the authentic Vitamin C the worldwide.
