Amai Proteins is biotechnology company with a proprietary platform technology that uses Computational Protein Design, Microbial Precision Fermentation and Food Technology to create great tasting, sustainable and IP-protected Proteins for the Food & Beverage industry.
Our first product is sweelin®, a hyper-sweet protein that is great tasting, calorie-free and delivers 40-70% sugar reduction (some applications even 100%),
On average, sweelin® is 3,000x sweeter than sugar weight-to weight (application dependent) and it can survive heat-treatment which is a unique for a protein. We have tested sweelin® in a wide variety of applications including great tasting 40% reduced sugar cranberry juice, a 70% reduced sugar ketchup, yogurt, gummies, iced tea, sugar-free chocolate and more, all prepared by Amai’s Food Technology team.
