Alga3® is the world’s first 100% Vegan Omega-3 ingredient that can truly match Omega-3 content and EPA/DHA ratio of common fish oil concentrates. Concentrations for EPA or DHA of up to 95% total or combined are available in many common EPA/DHA ratios. Product quality is designed in from the beginning, starting with the source and continuing through to the finished product. Alga3® builds upon KD Nutra’s decades of experience in purifying and concentrating fish-based EPA and DHA lipids to the highest levels (95%+) required for API pharmaceuticals. Raw algal oils rich in EPA and DHA are sourced from trusted growers in the USA, EU, and UK. Through gentle winterization and refining steps, non-omega fats are carefully separated and removed. The remaining algae Omega-3 EPA and DHA are then concentrated to more than 95% EPA/DHA concentration without the use of harmful solvents like methanol or hexane. The resulting product is a 100% vegetarian Omega-3 EPA+DHA concentrated lipid that can match a marine-sourced Omega concentrate in potency and purity.
