Magnesium glycinate

Information

Magnesium glycinate — also referred to as magnesium bisglycinate — is an organic magnesium chelate in which magnesium is coordinated to two glycine molecules. Because the magnesium is held within the chelate rather than present as a free ion, the material behaves differently in a formulation than inorganic magnesium salts do. GRADES 12% Taste Optimized — highest elemental magnesium load; for capsules and tablets where dose density governs. 10% Taste Free — balances loading against sensory neutrality; for powders, stick packs and drink mixes. 8% Ultra Taste Free — most sensory-neutral; for gummies, chewables and ready-to-drink beverages. ANALYTICAL RESULTS (TYPICAL) Purity (Mg): 12.01% w/w — ICP-OES Free magnesium: ≤0.02% w/w — complexometric titration Water content: 2.35% w/w — Karl Fischer Chelation confirmed by FTIR; crystalline structure confirmed by XRD; dihydrate form with TGA mass loss of 17.3%, consistent with theory The analytical method used to verify chelate purity is patent pending CERTIFICATIONS NSF GMP · NSF Certified for Sport · FDA Registered Facility · ISO 9001 · FSSC 22000 · BRCGS · Non-GMO Project Verified · Halal · Kosher · GRAS CLINICAL RESEARCH Company-sponsored clinical studies on sleep quality and exercise recovery are currently in progress. Study design and progress can be discussed in person.
