Source: Extracted and refined from fresh or ripe fruits of Solanum lycopersicum L. (Solanaceae) through modern techniques including low-temperature crushing, ultrasonic extraction, centrifugal separation and spray drying.
Used Part: Fruit, which is the main enrichment site of active ingredients such as lycopene, vitamin C, flavonoids and organic acids.
Harvest Season: June to October (3-4 months after open-field cultivation; annual harvest available for protected cultivation). At this time, the fruits are highly mature, with lycopene content reaching its peak and rich nutritional components.
Appearance: Orange-red to crimson fine powder, with a fresh fruity aroma unique to tomatoes.
Solubility: Easily soluble in oils, acetone, ethanol and other organic solvents, slightly soluble in water.
