Source: Extracted, refined, and dried from the fresh or dried rhizomes of Zingiber officinale Roscoe (a ginger family plant) using modern techniques. Specification: Gingerol ≥ 5% (HPLC) Part used: Rhizome (underground swollen rhizome), which is the part richest in gingerol, volatile oils, and polyphenolic components. Harvest season: November to January of the following year (8–10 months after planting), when the gingerol content is the highest and the aroma is strong. Appearance: Light yellow to brownish-yellow fine powder with a strong characteristic pungent aroma of fresh ginger. Solubility: Easily soluble in ethanol, partially soluble in water.
