Informed Sport makes certain our certified products are safer for athletes and drug-tested personnel we test every single batch for banned substances before being released to market. Once certification has been awarded, we continue to blind test samples to safeguard against banned substances. Presence of the Informed Sport certification quality mark on product packaging demonstrates to athletes and consumers that every batch of a product has been tested for more than 285 substances prohibited in sport and that the product was made in an environment with quality systems appropriate for the stringent demands of sports nutrition manufacturing.
Informed Choice follows the same rigorous testing and is designed to minimize the risks of dietary supplement products from being inadvertently contaminated with prohibited and potentially harmful substances. Informed Ingredient is a program used to minimize the risk of banned substance contamination with ingredients intended for the inclusion in sports and dietary supplement products. Suppliers can certify their ingredients to help companies easily identify them as having appropriate quality systems and testing in place and ensure the integrity of supplied ingredients. Certified ingredients are tested to parts-per-billion levels of accuracy and their manufacturing processes must meet strict quality control standards. By regularly testing the ingredient prior to use, manufacturers can be confident in the integrity of the ingredient.
Informed Manufacturer helps minimize the risk of banned substance contamination within facilities that manufacture and supply sports nutrition products, dietary supplements, and their ingredients.
