- Source: Dried aerial parts (flowers, leaves, stems) or whole herb of Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench., made through extraction and processing.
- Parts used: The aerial parts of Echinacea are rich in active ingredients such as echinacoside, polyphenols, flavonoids, and volatile oils.
- Specifications: Chicoric Acid ≥2.5%; Polyphenols ≥ 4.0%;
- Harvest season: Harvest from summer to autumn, preferably during the flowering period, when active ingredients are sufficiently accumulated.
- Appearance: Dark green to green powder.
- Solubility: Partially soluble in water, easily soluble in ethanol, propylene glycol and other solvents.
